May to October is the dry season — ideal conditions for the Rinjani trek, beach time, and diving. November to April is the wet season, with December–January bringing the most rainfall. The dry season is distinctly the better time to visit.
Do I need a visa for Indonesia (Lombok)?

What are the Gili Islands?
